Misturat Ganiyu
Misturat Ganiyu (mis-TOO-raht gah-NEE-yoo), affectionately known as “Missy,” was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications-Journalism at Governors State University. She has handled 100+ transactions since she started her real estate career. As someone who relocated to Champaign County from Chicago, she can relate to buyers who are not from the area but are purposely choosing to call Champaign home.
Her clients include first-time and seasoned home buyers, sellers, investors, and relocations. She doesn’t just care about her clients; she internalizes their needs and priorities.
In her constant pursuit of excellence, Missy has obtained two professional designations to date: Accredited Buyer Representative and Real Estate Negotiation Expert. Whether she is representing a buyer, seller, or investor, she prides herself in making sure that her clients understand the entire home-buying and selling process. Whether you’re looking for a home right now or six months from now, she’ll be as dedicated as you are in finding a place. And if you need to sell a home, her market knowledge, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and top-notched marketing will ensure your home sells for the highest price with the least risk and hassle along the way.
Missy was a member of the inaugural class of the Champaign County Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy. She also completed the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Leadership Program. She is currently an elected at-large member of the Champaign County Association of REALTORS Board of Directors. She also holds secondary membership with the Chicago Association of REALTORS and is a member of the Dearborn REALTIST Board, a historically Black real estate trade group.
When she is not doing any client-related activities, you can find her around the Champaign-Urbana area looking for the best place to get chai tea and embarking on new hobbies.
