Emily Divina Warkentin
Emily’s calm but confident demeanour, genuine spirit, and warm nature tends to put people at ease. Her active listening skills, love of research, and attention to detail give her the skillset to help connect you with the home you’ve been dreaming of. She is determined to get the job done and do it right the first time - all while making sure you remain cool, calm, and collected.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, where she majored in criminology with a double minor in psychology and sociology. Her past career experience includes working in: tech startups, NPOs, and a psychology clinic in Vancouver, as their client services coordinator.
In 2021, Emily moved back to her hometown of Pickering with her growing family in tow. Combining her skills and passion for all things home she decided to venture into the real estate industry.
She loves homes with character, well designed floor plans, and good bones for a renovation project. She doesn’t care for: sad grey house flips and pushy sales tactics.
On a typical day you can find Emily: reading to her little ones, learning how to make sourdough bread, having coffee with her husband, and catching an episode of HomeTown on Sunday evenings.
A certified homebody - her idea of a good time is sharing a home-cooked meal with a few good friends at the dinner table. She believes that your home is: a safe haven, where lifelong memories are made, and where relationships flourish.
Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, searching for a property that is suited to multi-generational living, or want to work on your own fixer-upper, Emily would love to help you find the perfect house to call home.
