Born and raised on an acreage outside of Edmonton, Gord always loved being outdoors and with many summer vacations spent driving out west, it was an early love for the beauty British Columbia has to offer. Many years later, it came as no surprise when Gord moved his family towards the mountains in 2017, where they gratefully chose to settle in Vernon.
