I gained my real estate license shortly after my 21st birthday in 2005, which became just about the worst time in America's history to join the residential real estate industry, yet I feel more appreciative because of it. As a second generation Realtor in the Twin Cities, my dad, Gary, has been a residential realtor for 50 years and still going strong. Growing up and seeing the intricacies, dilemmas, problem solving, and gratification that come along with this profession, it was a great way to learn as he was always a client focused realtor, only worrying about that which benefited his clients.
