Todd Reed
Todd Reed recently retired from the United States Army after 37 years of military service. He culminated his career as the State Inspectors General (SIG) for the Kentucky National Guard located at the Boone National Guard Center, Frankfort, Ky. As the IG, he worked directly for The Adjutant General of Kentucky conducting inspections, investigations, assistance, teaching and training for over 6,500 Army National Guard Soldiers and 1,200 Airmen in order to enhance the command's readiness and warfighting capabilities.
Prior to this assignment, Todd served as Kentucky's Senior Advisor to the Army Guard (SRAAG) for First Army. He also served with First Army from January 2015 to June 2016 as the Brigade Executive Officer and Operations Officer for the 4th Calvary Brigade at Fort Knox, KY. He served from April 2012 to January 2015, as the Deputy Commander for the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District. In 2010, Lt. Col. Reed served with the 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan., and deployed as an Advisor in support of Operation New Dawn for the 17th Iraqi Army Division, Mahmudiyah, Iraq. He has a total of three tours to Iraq. The first on was in 2003 for Operation Iraqi Freedom and the other one was in 2007-2008 for the Troop Surge.
In addition, Todd has over 15 years of business management experience working in the manufacturing, transportation, and logistics industries for various Fortune 500 companies in Corporate America. During this time period, he received Toyota Production System and Lean Six Sigma certifications.
