What's it like working here in The Villages, FL - THE LARGEST 55+ RETIREMENT COMMUNITY IN THE COUNTRY?
Although I've heard Buyers/Sellers comment that working here must be like "SHOOTING FISH IN A BARREL", it's anything BUT that!! Working here is TRULY a mixed bag of joy & at times, sorrow. It requires an ENORMOUS amount of love, patience & kindness backed with the "going the extra mile" attitude, dedication & hard work!
Most days, you'll find me working side by side with our homeowners transitioning to their next chapter who need an extra hand to get their home ready. I also spend a great deal of time working with out of state family ensuring that their depth of pain after losing their parent(s) here is not compounded by everything related to selling their parents home.
While I also enjoy working with Buyers/New Retirees moving here, I focus on Listing Homes because that is where I am needed most & feel most fulfilled.
Before working in The Villages, FL: My Real Estate career began in Texas back 2005/2006 during an INCREDIBLY HARSH housing market. I learned the art of "outside the box" thinking to find buyers for homes competing with literally thousands of new construction foreclosures, existing home foreclosures as well as the stock pile of homes competing with them all. It was 100% anxiety, 100% of the time! Becoming a "MULTI-MILLION PRODUCER" that first year certainly wasn't easy or enjoyable - it was with purpose as I learned how to sell homes at top dollar reasonably quick. I still apply now what I learned then which was FOR MY BUYERS: To help them make SOLID investment choices that allow for an exit strategy (should they need one). FOR MY SELLERS: I reach for creative techniques to locate buyers for their homes in order to sell quickly & at top dollar.
I work hard to ensure a WIN/WIN environment needed for solid, enjoyable & fluid closings for all involved.
