John Meyer has been a full-time Realtor since 1994, bringing over three decades of experience, dedication, and passion to the real estate industry. His journey began long before that - as the son of a United States Air Force veteran, John traveled across the country with his family before settling in Wooster, Ohio in 1973.
A proud graduate of St. Mary’s School, Wooster High School, and the Wayne County Schools Career Center Drafting Program, Class of 1984, John’s roots in the Wooster community run deep. He initially launched his professional career as a design engineer at Rubbermaid, inspired by a lifelong passion for architecture and design. That same passion soon led him to real estate - a natural transition that has allowed him to blend his technical expertise with a deep love of homes and community.
John is deeply involved in both professional and civic organizations. He is a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and an officer with The Wooster Elk’s Lodge. His commitment to service extends into his real estate career as well - John has served in nearly every capacity within the Wayne-Holmes Association of Realtors. His leadership and dedication have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the 2000 Realtor of the Year award and induction into the Wayne-Holmes Association of Realtors Hall of Fame in 2010.
John has also been an active contributor at the state level, participating on multiple committees for the Ohio Association of Realtors and regularly attending industry conferences and conventions to stay at the forefront of the profession.
Today, as a proud agent with RE/MAX, John continues to serve buyers and sellers throughout Wooster and the surrounding communities with honesty, experience, and a genuine love for the business. His philosophy is simple:
