Some traditions are still alive there, such as the fairs of 4 August and 17 October; the feast in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows, St. Louis and St. Sebastian in September; the feast of St. Faustino on Easter Sunday.
From a more recent tradition, Saint John's celebrations are celebrated there in mid-June. Boliqueime begins to be endowed with significant social facilities and has an associative life that reveals some dynamics, with diverse cultural, sports and recreational communities. Among other equipment of undeniable public interest, the following should be highlighted: the Nursing Home with the Day Care Center, the Nursery and the Kindergarten; the modern Integrated Elementary School; the new extension of the Loulé Health Center; the Gymnastics Pavilion and the Recreational Society.
