About the Building

This 1960s building on Av. Columbano Bordallo Pinheiro reflects the modernist
language of the period: clean lines, simple volumes and functional façades
without ornamentation. Built with reinforced concrete slab construction, it is
solid and long-lasting, featuring continuous balconies, wide windows and a
comfortable ceiling height. The floor plans are rational, with
well-proportioned rooms designed to maximise natural light. Inside, these
buildings originally included wooden parquet floors, independent kitchens and
generous social areas, making them highly adaptable to contemporary
refurbishments without major structural constraints. The avenue brings together
