Marshall Smith
Marshall was born and raised in Riverview N.B. He joined the Army Reserves when he turned 16 and later attended the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton where he studied Engineering and worked at the Canadian Forces Base Gagetown. At the age of 20, he received a component transfer to the Navy and moved to Halifax. He purchased a home in Spryfield, where he has lived since. Marshall spent the next 9 years working full-time as a Combat System Engineer Sonar Technician. Marshall fell in love with Halifax and saw an opportunity to spend more time in the community by switching careers to real estate. Marshall was first licensed in 2018, he works for RE/MAX Nova and is always looking for ways to become more involved in the community. Marshall is on the board of directors at the Spryfield Business Commission, Spryfield Social Enterprise and Affordable Housing Society, and the Halifax Atlantic Electoral District Association. Salvation Army in Spryfield. Marshall also recently completed his Bachelor of Technology at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
