Butch Elich - RE/MAX Properties of the Summit

Over 35 years ago Butch’s love of skiing, hiking, cycling, flyfishing, and just hanging out in the forest brought him to Summit County. A Colorado native from Pueblo, Butch still enjoys all the activities that attracted him to Summit County and has, even, added a few like high altitude gardening, sailing and rowing on Lake Dillon, rafting the Grand Canyon for 18 days and peaceful walks in the local forest with his dog Rosie.

While enjoying the local lifestyle Butch was fortunate to raise two wonderful daughters with his wife of over 20 years. He has mentioned more than once that sharing the mountain life style with family has provide cherished memories that will last forever.

Butch didn’t stop sharing with his family. He has volunteered for the local community in various stages of involvement from being a local volunteer firefighter, forest trails project volunteer, and Copper Mountain Ski & tour Ambassador. Of course, he had to take his involvement even farther as a member of the local Rotary, Summit Elks, Knights of Columbus and the Colorado Mythological Society.

Professionally, Butch has been a consistent award-winning Realtor and an active member of the RE/MAX family. Being a RE/MAX Hall of fame recipient, RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement award winner and a 2019 Realtor Emeritus award recipient show his true dedication to his career and his joy in helping people. He has also been greatly involved in the local Summit Association of Realtors as a past President and locally honored as Realtor of the year in 2008-2009.

He also branched outside of the local community as a State President of the Colorado Association of Realtors Housing Opportunity Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors for over a decade.
