Jim Marshall - RE/MAX Parry Sound-Muskoka Realty Ltd

I started my real estate career in 1985 with a keen familiarity with the area’s lakes and strong connections with both the seasonal and year-round populations. My knowledge of the area is extensive: the odds are that I know where one can launch a boat or suggest good fishing spots on several of the area’s lakes.

Kim and I were married in 1989 and have three grown sons, a Portugues Waterdog (Mac) and just recently, became grandparents (welcome, Sophia). Even though I’m always busy with my real estate practice, I manage to take the time to spend with the family and like to enjoy time exploring the region with our boat and, of course, my camera.

I recently completed a term as a Councillor for the Town of Parry Sound and as the West Parry Sound Museum Board chair. Also, I’m a past two-term President of the Parry Sound Real Estate Board and Past Director of the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) MLS® and Technology Committee.

I have several other interests outside of my real estate career. Music has always been one of my passions, and I am proficient in playing the piano and guitar. Gardening, fishing, and astronomy are also hobbies I enjoy.
