Etats-Unis RE/MAX english Michelle Shrout Michelle was born in La Junta, lived in Las Animas, but moved to Walsenburg in elementary school when her father, Keith Varner, became the CEO of a local bank. Her mother, Susan Shoop, ran the local video store, Premiere Videos. Michelle graduated from John Mall High School in 2004. She worked as a dispatcher for the Walsenburg Police Department, then moved on to the Colorado State Veterans' Community Living Center, where she was an activities assistant for Alzheimer's patients. She assisted the elderly with the local Council of Governments and also worked as a paraprofessional at Peakview Elementary School. Michelle has pursued her passion for photography for several years, capturing the majestic mountains, trees, lakes, and fields of Walsenburg, La Veta, and the surrounding areas. She has captured many memories for many of Huerfano County families. Michelle married longtime La Veta resident Owen Shrout in 2014 in the beautiful La Veta Pass area. They have two children, Hunter and Amiah. In 2016 Owen and Michelle bought their first home outside of Walsenburg and are continuing to raise their children in the great communities they both grew up in. Michelle chose real estate because of her passion to help others. She looks forward to helping people find the home, farm, or ranch of their dreams. USD
