Martha Thill - RE/MAX Southern Shores

I am an Illinois native, having grown up in Arlington Heights, IL, and went to college at The University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Go Cornhuskers!!! My husband, Tom, grew up in Stamford, CT. We met in Connecticut while I was working for Chicago Title Insurance Company in Stamford as a sales rep in Fairfield County. We lived in Fairfield, CT, prior to my husband taking another sales position with an ultrasonic cleaning company in Trenton, which brought us to New Jersey. I was able to transfer with Chicago Title to their East Brunswick office, and eventually became the Branch Manager. While in New Jersey I was a member of ICREW (Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women) which became CREW New Jersey as part of the national association and served as ICREW's President from 2000-2001. We are both avid golfers and were living at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Twp., prior to our move to Myrtle Beach. We moved to Barefoot in North Myrtle Beach in 2007 and became members of the Barefoot Golf Courses. I am a member of the Barefoot Ladies Golf Association, and Past President. Barefoot has provided us with the same lifestyle we had in New Jersey, being part of a golfing community. We have one special needs daughter, Erin, who is a resident at Lambs Farm in Libertyville, IL, living in her own apartment within a supervised environment. We have thoroughly enjoyed our move to the Beach, and the golf is great!!
