My Real Estate career has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
I come from humble beginnings. One of 6 children to Immigrant parents. I have always been driven to be the "best" whether it was waiting on tables or being a Realtor.
In my first year of Real Estate in 1980 when interest rates were 17%, I was working at two jobs but was determined that I was going to be the best realtor. I sometimes worked until 2 A.M. at the office after my first job was over.
In my first year, was Number 1 for Century 21 , selling 1 million dollars worth of real estate. Century 21 asked to speak at at Tri State Convention telling over a thousand people why I was successful in my first year as an agent.
I had no idea what to tell the people in the audience other than; we were lucky to live where we live, and that we had the opportunity to be whatever we wanted to be...all we had to do to achieve our dreams was to work hard!
This is my 40th year as a Realtor. I still believe every word that I said 39 years ago to that crowd of people...work hard, be honest and give your clients the best service you can. The rest will come.
Since then I have earned many rewards, and have been fortunate enough to make hundreds a great friends who started out being my clients.
Some of my accomplishments have been:
* Sales Master Award from The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors for the last 35 years. Top 5% of all realtors nationwide
* A past recipient the " Realtor Associate of the Year " from Greater Rochester Association of Realtors.
* Co founder and Secretary of The Woman's Council of Realtors in the Rochester Area.
* Platinum Award from RE/MAX Plus
* RE/MAX Hall of Fame
* 100% Club
* A portion of every commission check I receive happily goes to The Golisano Childrens Hospital, Rochester, N.Y.
