Megan has a background in graphic design, teaching, and merchandising. She has a passion for home design and remodeling houses. Megan's journey started in Bloomington, where she was born and raised. After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Iowa, she explored different parts of the country while working as a graphic designer and merchandiser for Patagonia and various outdoor companies. Eventually, she decided to return to Bloomington to be closer to her family, pursue a career in teaching, and start a family of her own. During her time as a teacher, Megan's interest in home design continued to grow. She took on various remodeling projects, successfully renovating four houses. Additionally, she has managed Airbnb’s and provided consulting services to others seeking guidance with their home design decisions. These experiences allowed her to develop a keen eye for interior design and a deep understanding of the housing market. Recently, Megan has made a career shift from education to real estate. As a realtor, she works to help clients find their ideal home by leveraging her artistic background and expertise in home design. Her strong communication skills are a plus as well as her commitment to understanding her clients' needs and desires, and providing them with personalized solutions that meet their expectations. Megan's goal is to ensure her clients feel heard, satisfied, and excited about the process of finding and transforming their space. With Megan joining Georgia Johnson and Amy Somers Kopp, The Kopp Team gained a diverse range of skills and experiences that benefits their clients.
