A mom, dog mom, and bonus mom, she understands the importance of finding the right home. Her strong work ethic was shaped early as a competitive athlete and dancer—she was a proud member of both the University of Florida Dazzlers and the University of Miami Sunsations. In 1996, she was honored as a community hero and carried the Olympic Torch.
