Ryan Stein - RE/MAX House of Dreams

I was born in Smithville, Missouri where I was raised. Lettering in a variety of athletics including football, wrestling and track. I earned my Eagle Scout in 1992 and attended Missouri Boy’s State in 1994. Also, I worked a variety of interesting jobs, lifeguard, water safety instructor (for the Kansas City American Red Cross. In 1995 I began my college career at the University of Kansas, eventually awarded Golden Key National Honor Society in the school of Journalism while running a successful video productions company. During my second semester in law school, (age23) I was injured in a pick-up football game incident I tore my carotid artery, causing a blood clot, unfortunately ending in both a stroke and heart attack. Regardless, eventually I sold the company (on the 3rd offer) and decided it was time for an adventure. I made the decision on a Tuesday, and by Saturday I was in Antigua. The 5th day I was “on island” I accidently found a job with the Ministry of Tourism negotiating port contracts with luxury cruise lines and some commercial lines. Upon my return to the States, I organized my 3rd company, my first at age 14, cutting, splitting, stacking and delivering firewood cut on my parent’s land(sole prop). Second being Video Guy Productions (sole prop) in Lawrence, Kansas. Then Midwest steak Company (LLC). In 2010 I started the Ryan Stein Allstate agency. Following my insurance experience, In 2016 I decided a full time career in real estate suited me best. Additionally, beginning in 2010 I have maintained memberships with the Smithville Rotary Club, Chamber of commerce, and Free Masons.
