Michelle Doo Van Rafelghem
With a diverse career spanning industries and countries, I bring a unique blend of global experience and local insight to every real estate transaction. I've worked as a headhunter for a multinational management consulting firm in Taiwan, served as General Manager of a boutique retail company, managed a busy medical practice, and led digital marketing and promotions for small, local businesses. Across all of these roles, one theme has remained constant: a deep commitment to personalized service and meticulous attention to client needs.
My goal is simple—whether you're buying or selling, I ensure you and your home are well represented and your goals are fully realized. I prioritize communication, care, and custom-tailored support, because your real estate journey deserves nothing less.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Southern California. I use the foundation of my education daily—strengthening my business acumen while delivering exceptional client service.
A few fun facts about me:
* I completed Ironman Canada in 2002.
* I hate heights... which is exactly why I force myself to zipline and cliff-jump. (Bungee jumping is next!
* My parents thought I was kidnapped during a 2-month backpacking trip through Europe. (It was just the ‘90s—pre-cell phone era!)
* I love to cook and bake—though I can get a little obsessive about getting every dish just right.
* My family is musically gifted... I am not. But I am undefeated in any ‘80s New Wave “Name That Tune” contest. That’s my gift to them.
As a fourth-generation islander, I’m proud to call Hawai‘i home. I cherish the natural beauty of the islands, the deep sense of community, and the opportunity to raise my family in such a special place.
Let’s connect—your real estate goals are my top priority, and I’m here to help you reach them with care, clarity, and commitment.
