Joy Pratt - RE/MAX Accord

A native Californian, Joy moved to Alamo in 1955 when there were more orchards and farms than there were homes in the East Bay. She has watched the area grow as new homes were built. Walnut Creek became a financial hub. Blackhawk was developed, Dublin and San Ramon became major residential communities, Pleasanton grew, and Livermore transformed into the new “wine country”.

Thanks to parents involved in local real estate and a good mind for numbers, Joy majored in Business and Real Estate at San Jose State University and began selling homes in 1975.

Joy’s real estate career now spans more than forty years. Technology changes constantly and inventory throughout the region has grown substantially, but her customers and long- standing relationships within the industry are what truly matter. Joy always remembers who she works for and understands their needs. She is a problem solver with a strong referral network and the loyalty and respect of all who know her work.
