Teresa was born and raised in Southern Johnston County and grew up with a strong connection to the construction industry. As the daughter of the late C.P. Thompson, who served with the Johnston County Inspections Department for over 20 years—many as director—Teresa developed a deep appreciation for housing, floor plans, and functional design. This lifelong passion made her decision to pursue a second career in real estate a natural fit.

Teresa is committed to helping buyers and sellers have the best possible experience during their real estate transactions. Her dedication to providing exceptional service stems from her genuine desire to help others achieve their goals.

Teresa attended East Carolina University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and Campbell University, where she received a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. For 28 years, Teresa worked with the Johnston County Department of Social Services, ensuring the safety and protection of the elderly and disabled. Her background in social work reflects her lifelong commitment to serving and supporting others, a dedication she now brings to her real estate clients.
