经纪人/所有者 Sue M. Spann - RE/MAX Riverside

In the 1980s, Sue and Don Spann moved from Florida with their family to start a new life on Maine’s Midcoast. They fell in love with the ocean air and vibrant community. Since then, they dedicated their hearts and minds to its betterment. Opening RE/MAX Riverside in 2002 was a natural expression of that dedication.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, Sue was a registered nurse, earning a degree in nursing from the University of Virginia, with a concentration in critical care. When she changed career paths to Real Estate, she brought over many of the skills that made her a great nurse, like compassion, discretion, a strong work ethic, and the capacity to thrive under pressure. It was these skills, and her excellent leadership, that shaped RE/MAX Riverside into the industry-leading brokerage it is today. Now, Sue is one of the top 1,000 real estate agents in the country!

Outside of Real estate, Sue is working to better the Midcoast community. She sits on the Board of Directors for Midcoast Health, chairing the Quality and Patient Safety Committee. She has also been a member of the Brunswick Local Redevelopment Authority, Topsham’s Maine Street Committee, the Maine Listings Board of Directors, and many more. Through her community service, Sue has helped build the Topsham Public Library and revitalize the Brunswick Landing community.

Today, Sue enjoys working as a team with her longtime friend Darlene Chalmers, who came to RE/MAX Riverside in 2021 after also exiting a long career in healthcare. Together they have worked on important Midcoast Real estate projects like Brunswick Landing Condos.

In her off time, Sue can be found pursuing her passions, spending time with her family, and playing with her animals! Sue has a love for Dalmatians and American Saddlebreds. In fact, her love of horses has become more than just a hobby. Today, Sue is a highly-ranked American Hackney Harness Pony exhibitor on the regional and national circuit. She really does do it all!
