A native of New Goshen, IN, Charlie graduated from West Vigo High School and earned a Marketing degree from Indiana State University. While in college, he joined the Indiana Air National Guard, where he served with the 181st ANG Fire Department at Hulman Field in Terre Haute. After the department's closure, Charlie transitioned to roles as a Military Police Officer and later to the Camp Atterbury Fire Department near Edinburgh, IN.

In 2009, Charlie began his real estate career, earning his license and joining ERA Joseph Realtors. When ERA was sold, he became a valued member of Coldwell Banker Troy Helman Realtors and most recently has transitioned to RE/MAX Real Estate Associates where he continues to thrive as part of their experienced team.

Charlie's commitment to community is evident through his service in the Air National Guard, volunteer work with local fire departments in New Goshen and Sugarcreek Township. Charlie also served as the Fayette Township Trustee and Assessor following his election in 1996. These diverse experiences have shaped his ability to connect with clients and provide valuable insight into all aspects of real estate.
