Matthew Halterman - RE/MAX Fine Properties

I am a Real Estate Agent working in Austin, Tx. By joining RE/MAX Fine Properties, I am able to spread my wings further than I ever thought I could. Real Estate is a profession that I love, which happily combines my passions for architecture and design, community engagement, and helping folks. And with an awesome team and brokerage supporting me, I can't go wrong!

Before I decided to enter the world of real estate, I worked in the Entertainment Industry. I produced, with the financial help of the Hollywood Foreign Press, the award-winning globe-trotting LGBTQIA-Documentary film: From the Heart of Brahma. We not only filmed the documentary in Los Angeles, CA and Mexico City, MX, but we were fortunate enough to play to home audiences in Cambodia and to the rest of the world.

After that, I co-wrote and co-produced the short horror spoof: Open House, which went on to win 6 festival awards at the 48-hour from festival, hosted in Austin, TX. Next, I worked as 1st Assistant Director on the award-winning science-fiction short-film: Silicon Ceasar, which is available to stream on Amazon.

When I am not helping folks find their dream home, I usually spend time with friends or I am with my wonderful partner and our amazing Beagle son, Montgomery Scotty. In love to do yoga to help clear my mind and energize my soul. I typically spend a few hours a week volunteering at Vivent Health, which caters to the LGBTQIA+ community, something I am passionate about. I am always practicing and sharpening my skills on the guitar. I love to cook, dance, swim and just enjoy all the festivities and outdoor fun that our beautiful city has to offer.
