I am a Monroe County, Illinois native and have been serving the area's real estate needs since June of 1984. EXPERIENCE is the golden insurance policy to getting homes successfully sold and closed and I have had 30 years of it. I still LOVE my career and wake up every day passionate about helping clients with all of their real estate needs. I will not only list your property, but I will also show it, sell it, and bring it to the closing table with the least amount of stress to you. I have also become an expert in short sales and foreclosures, having earned my Certified Distressed Property Expert designation.

I have always been a "go-getter" and a top producer in the area. I received my realtors' license in 1984 and worked for an independent agency. From 1986 to 1991, I was part of a Century 21 agency. In these early years, interest was as high as 13%. Although it was a challenge, I was still a top producer. In April 2013 I closed a loan with 2.25%. I have survived the best and worst real estate markets. I was able to have continued success through determination, tenacity, hard work, long hours, and most importantly knowledge and experience. In 1991, along with my husband, Rich, we opened the first RE/MAX franchises in the area. We had two successful offices in Waterloo and Columbia.

The flood of 1993 wiped out the entire town of Valmeyer. In 1994 we were the exclusive listing agents in the “relocation to higher ground”. We were instrumental in the sale of the majority of the lots in New Valmeyer. This was such a huge accomplishment that Representatives of RE/MAX Corporate in Denver visited the project and showcased our success through a commercial they produced and broadcasted internationally.
